Compare microneedling OEM quotations by the complete order they describe. A lower pen price may exclude cartridges, logo printing, retail packaging, samples, or freight. Start with one specification and quantity, then ask each supplier to price the same contents and delivery scope.
If your requirements are still taking shape, use the first-order OEM brief checklist before comparing prices. Keep the brief revision, quote date, and quotation reference together so later revisions are easy to identify.
Confirm the same models, photos, and kit contents
A description such as “pen kit” leaves too much open. Match every quotation line to the exact model, finish, specification, and quantity. MOOKARDILANE’s catalog includes T9 Golden and T9 Grey; S5 Blue and S5 Gold; K7 Pink and K7 Black; rollers with 540, 180, or 192 counts; and 169 and 141 stamps in white or black. A photograph of another finish is not a substitute for identifying the quoted version.
Ask for a catalog reference and clear photographs of each named model, including the interface and the proposed kit layout. For rollers and stamps, record needle length and other selected specifications separately from the count. For cartridges, name 7701, 7704, or 7705, the selected needle or nano option, quantity per device, and total quantity. State whether the run uses branding and packaging on an existing model or includes development of a new housing or configuration. Compare the work described in the brief rather than relying on the OEM or ODM label alone.

Mark each item as included, separately priced, not applicable, or awaiting confirmation. A blank cell is an unanswered question. Compare totals with a worked example
Illustrative example only: these invented figures are not MOOKARDILANE prices, fee policies, or shipping terms. Assume both quotations cover the same 200 pen kits, cartridge quantities, branding, and packaging, with no development work. Freight is an estimate to the same destination under the same assumed scope.

Quote B saves $200 on pens but adds $270 across the other lines, making its comparison total $70 higher. Allocating these listed costs across 200 ordered kits gives $24.00 for A and $24.35 for B. This allocation includes sample costs; it is not the pen unit price. Neither total includes any unlisted charge.

Keep the document set tied to the quotation
The certification page publishes ISO 13485, CE LVD, CE EMC, and CE RoHS files. Request the documents relevant to the exact models and intended market, with each file named separately. A generic list does not establish that a particular product configuration is approved for sale in every market.
Check the ISO 13485 certificate file
- The manufacturer name.
- The certification scope.
- The certificate number.
- The issue date.
- The expiry date.
Keep the current scan with the quotation and model list. For a repeat order, request an updated copy and retain it with the order records.
